We Call it Benin kingdom History

BENIN and YORUBA at wãr over the history of their existence, here is what a historian from Benin empire wrote about their history.

Firstly, the Edo people never said they don't want to be ruled by Ogisos. Since I have been studying Edo history, I have never had this. The present Oba of Benin is a descendant of Ogiso. The Ogiso founded Benin/ Edo Kingdom.

The HISTORY of BENIN is Not 1200 BC. It has been in existence way back arround the 1100 Century BC. For your information, the Ogiso Kings were having contacts with King Pharaohs of Egypt.

They were the most Powerful in the what we now know as West Africa. Why King Pharaohs Were Dominating the Eastern Part of Africa, the Ogiso Kings were having a great time as Kings in West Africa.
Oranmiyan, the father of Oba Eweka the first is the son of Prince Ekaladeran, the son of Ogiso Owodo, the last Ogiso who ruled the Edo Kingdom.
Prince Ekaladeran was Banīshed and Migrated to Ife because of a Wrong Ållegation on Him. On his Bånishment, he migrated to Ife.
On Getting to Ife, he helped the Ife People to Defeãt the People who were waging wår on them and wanted to take over the land of the Ife People.
After helping the Ife People to win the wår, he was made a leader to rule over the Ife people as the first Ooni of Ife. Because of that favour and honour he got to be a king in a strange land, he decided to change his name from his original Benin name ( Ekaladeran) and choosed to be called (Izoduwa) which means, "I have found a home".
It was the Name "Izoduwa" that was wrongly pronounced by the Yoruba as "Ododuwa". In the actual sense, the history of Ododuwa which the Yoruba believe as the founder of the Yoruba Land is that man Ekaladeran... 🙏😍😘
