Late Chief Napa Nambo of Yano Kasumu tribe. He was well respected and married with a handful of wives, with many sons and daughters to his name and fame. A true warrior and a paramount chief who led tribal warfares and extended tribal territories yet promoted peace and settled enemies, (a very unique character he had that is absent in today's setting), which made to have his name etched in our tribes history book. I had the chance to personally chat with him as a kid attending Yano Primary School when he was frail, old and spending his last days at the time. A few years lated he passed on, and I could vividly remember attending his funeral held at his ples singsing when I was attending High School. A leader and a chief who promoted peace and unity more than trouble and disunity. Him and his other colleagues, in the likes of Chief Yano Karimbi, Chief Sir Konjili Yano and Chief Yano Galua, to name a few, their leadership traits have been a legacy known to us his sons and daughters and as well as grannies, and will be foretold as far as our memories could hold... Thank you to Kim B Tribalbible for keeping this photo of him 🙏 I'll keep this as one of my collection and a treasured memory as far as the Greater and a United Yano is concerned.
